We're on a mission to make economic education accessible to all students.
EconEd began when we noticed many of our classmates didn’t know how to manage their money. We saw friends spend their savings on takeout and small purchases, then rely on their parents for more. It wasn’t their fault because no one had ever taught them.
We started EconEd, a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to help change that. We teach financial literacy to younger students through in-school lessons and free online tutoring. Our sessions focus on saving, budgeting, and smart spending in a way that is simple, practical, and easy to understand.
By reaching students early, we hope to prevent bad habits before they form and give kids the tools they need to make smart financial choices for life. Our goal is to build a generation that understands money and feels confident using it.

We believe that every student deserves the knowledge and confidence to make smart financial decisions that lead to a stronger future.
We are committed to making a meaningful difference in our local communities by bringing financial education directly to schools and families.
We design our lessons to be easy to understand and available to all students, offering both in-person workshops and free online tutoring.
We are led by students who take initiative, inspire change, and prove that young people can lead with purpose and create real impact.
We make financial literacy fun, interactive, and practical so students can build real-world money skills that stick.
